Tags and Laughter

With all my craft supplies packed for the move, I was ecstatic to have left out some of my Ranger Distress Inks. I also had a Dabber bottle of white Acrylic Paint and used it as the background on the Spring Tag. Since the stamp was a reverse art I was able to sponge the ink into the open areas of the flower and then hand drew the black images that had been stamped. I wiped off the excess ink giving it a two tone look! I would have added the ribbon but it too is packed. I so hate moving! But I have to say that in our new home we have a 2nd bedroom that is going to be my personal craft room! My hubby painstakingly moved each of my gazillion boxes up 2 steps of flights (not to mention the flights of steps at our old house) and carefully delivered them safely to their new destination. (Thank you my love!).

On the laugh card, using the same distress inks (only 3 but they mix into other colors quite well) I used the Foamies column's for blending my colors and then dabbed them to look like bubbles. Again, I would have added a ribbon somewhere but they are all packed.

Hope you enjoy!!!

Stampers Quest Blog week!!!!

I am so excited to be the blogger of the week at StampersQuest.
Hope you will follow me there and leave a comment or questions on my blog there at StampersQuest when my project gets posted there tomorrow!!!! :)

I really had a great time creating the project. I had a lot of difficulties with our internet losing connection this week. I want to thank Stephanie and Bea, for their continued encouragement and patience while I was uploading and editing my project! These guys ROCK~

A thank you goes out to my Stampin-Scrappin Nook yahoo group friends for their continued patience with me during my silence with in the group during my new transition and learning process while designing and editing my projects. NO Miss Lynn, I will not forget my friends or move on or away just because I am designing... I miss you all , and you are the base of who inspired me to create!!!! !!!
A wink goes out to Hewitt, Jo, Diana, Lynn, Polly and RoseAnn, who kept "PUSHING ME" to design and go outside the box. You are the "Stickles" of my life!!!!

Now go tomorrow to see what I've created over at StampersQuest and let me know what you think!!!!
